Responsibilities

• Assist in payroll preparation by compiling and organizing monthly payroll data for 10 countries, ensuring accuracy for over 1,200 employees across Germany and EMEA.
• Manage assigned benefit categories and focus areas autonomously, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Address employee inquiries through our HR ticketing system, helping to resolve questions about payment, payslip access, vacation calculations, and other payroll‑related topics.
• Ensure accurate time recording for working students and calculate their payments in alignment with contract terms and local labor laws.
• Generate and review payroll reports, verify data accuracy, and support monthly payroll processing.
• Identify and analyze areas for potential efficiency gains within payroll operations and assist in designing and implementing strategic improvements to streamline payroll workflows.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for payroll processes, policies, and best practices.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing global payroll projects and initiatives, contributing to the team’s success in delivering high‑quality, compliant payroll services across regions.

Requirements

• Enrolled student (all genders) at a university or college in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in German and good English skills are mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in payroll software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, ADP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey payroll information clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

What We Offer

• Contract location would be Göppingen, Germany.

• Our Working Students in Germany receive a monthly salary of €1,566 for a 20‑hour/week contract, €1,253 for a 16‑hour/week contract, and €1,400 for an internship position.
