Workday Finance Functional Consultants (Mid & Mid-Junior, remote) – Contract – Workday experience is mandatory

Mandatory: Hands-on Workday Financials (NOT SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Dynamics only). We’re hiring 4 offshore consultants (2 Mid, 2 Mid-Junior) with GL + AR/AP/Banking/Revenue/Assets experience to secure a go-live.

About the roles
Join a high-stakes Workday program in the final phase. You’ll help close end-to-end tests, run mock migration + GL/Subledger reconciliation, enable users, support cutover rehearsal, and deliver hypercare post go-live. Two roles are intended to convert to steady-state support (L3/L2) after go-live.

What you’ll do

• Own or execute E2E/UAT for Finance flows (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report; incl. Time → Billing → Revenue).
• Reproduce defects, analyze root cause, coordinate fixes, and capture evidence to exit criteria.
• Support period close in Workday (GL, AR/AP, Banking/Cash, Assets, Revenue); produce SoD/audit artifacts.
• Perform mock migration and GL/SL reconciliation with Controlling sign-off.
• Create job aids and deliver role-based training; participate in cutover rehearsal and hypercare (Weeks 1–4).

What you bring

• Mid: 3–5 years hands-on Workday Financials across ≥3 domains (GL plus two of AR/AP/Banking/Revenue/Assets).
• Mid-Junior: 1.5–3 years hands-on Workday Financials across ≥2 domains (GL plus AR/AP or Banking/Cash).
• Demonstrated E2E/UAT experience (design/ownership for Mid; disciplined execution for Mid-Junior).
• Practical accounting fluency (posting logic, close cadence, revenue recognition).
• Jira, Confluence, Excel; availability 80–100% and 2–4h CET overlap through Jan 2026.

Nice-to-have

• Workday PSA (Projects/Contracts/Billing/Revenue) exposure.
• Working knowledge of banking/tax/data-hub integrations.

Success looks like

• 0 Sev1/Sev2 open at cutover freeze; ≥90% defects within SLA.
• 100% critical E2E executed with evidence/sign-off.
• GL/SL reconciliation = 0 variance pre-cutover; Controlling sign-off.
• ≥90% training attendance, ≥80% knowledge checks passed.
