Workday Financials - Project Lead

One of my clients is looking for an Workday Financials Project Lead to drive the implementation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of our Workday Financials platform. This role requires strong expertise in Workday Financials, excellent project management skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver successful financial system solutions.

• Lead end-to-end implementation or enhancement projects within Workday Financials, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT teams to identify business needs and translate them into Workday solutions.
• Provide hands-on configuration expertise across Workday Financial modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, etc.).
• Manage project scope, resources, risks, and timelines using structured project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Mentor junior team members and support internal knowledge sharing on Workday best practices.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system security within the Workday Financials ecosystem.
• Coordinate with Workday and third-party vendors as needed.
