Your role

At ZEISS, you have the chance to seamlessly integrate your studies with hands-on experience by actively participating in exciting projects. Your daily work routine will be a vibrant and engaging blend of the following tasks:

• Develop communication strategies, documentation, and training concepts, while collaborating with team members to refine these concepts and implement them independently.

• Take responsibility for your own documentation project and drive its development forward by working closely with users and stakeholders, researching and verifying information and functions to ensure accuracy and relevance.

• Manage our Learning Management System (LMS) for reporting, billing, and delivery of educational courses and training programs on web-related topics.

• Translate technical and conceptual constraints into clear guidelines for stakeholders.

• Contribute to the design and documentation of learning experiences and training materials.

• Support internal community management and communication to encourage collaboration and engagement.

• Apply the skills and knowledge gained during your studies to real-world projects.

Your profile

Must have

• You are a registered student in the field of technical documentation, international communication, translation and terminology studies, or a comparable degree program

• You possess proficiency in technology, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

• You are a collaborative team player who is also independent, open-minded, proactive, and agile in your thinking.

• You exhibit a structured work approach and effectively organize your tasks.

• You will be enrolled for a minimum of one year and able to work 20 hours per week

• You are fluent in English

Nice to have

• You acquired first work experience in web content management and possess some familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)

• You understand how different disciplines—concept, design, development—work together to create a web presence

• You have conversational skills in German or are eager to improve your proficiency in German language.
