Working Student – Finance and Tax (m/w/n)

Eschborn, Hessen, Germany

Part time (20h/week)

We are looking for a Working Student to support the ISS STOXX Tax function with activities related to tax advice in various projects, tax declarations, preparation of guidelines and documentation of controls.

Such tasks include the below (non-exclusive):

• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and local tax filings for direct and indirect taxes for various entities in the ISS STOXX group worldwide
• Support in the set up and maintenance of the ISS STOXX Tax SharePoint
• Support regarding the preparation of internal tax guidelines, kex operating procedures, etc.
• Support regarding WHT requests
• Support regarding certificates of residence
• Support during the implementation of S4/Hana and during post Go Live activities
• Research activities related to various tax topics

Requirements

• Enrolled in a recognized University program
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Financial background with a strong interest in tax law
• Good command in MS 365 (MS Office, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, etc.)
• Interested in the use of AI in the tax environment
• Pragmatic, proactive and open-minded personality
• Independent approach to problem solving
