We are a LegalTech startup based in Munich, and we are looking for a "(Junior) Symfony Backend Developer“.

We are building the worlds first litigation finance platform – AEQUIFIN matches litigants, lawyers and funders to enforce legal matters in an innovative way. Our young company offers a flexible, friendly, and digitally-driven work environment.

Tasks

Due to the small size of our company, there is an opportunity to work directly on numerous interesting projects and take on a lot of responsibility.

In Detail:

• Developing new Backend features in close coordination with the CTO and Product Owner.
• Further enhancing responsiveness and user-friendliness of the user interface and service applications. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty with some frontend coding from time to time.
• Improving code quality by reducing technical dept (which we sadly have) and introducing automated tests.
• Contributing to all tasks of the Scrum Development Team
• Testing, presenting, and delivering feature tickets
• Collaboration with Product Owners, users, and stakeholders

Requirements

Strong focus on software development

Strong Experience (> 2 years) in:

• PHP
• Symfony Framework

Basic Experience in these topics:

• MySQL
• HTML5
• CSS
• and JavaScript

Nice to have: Knowledge in modern frontend frameworks (e.g. we are planning to introduce Svelte, Tailwind)

Very good English or German language skills.

You’re a legal resident in the EU with proper work permit (will be validated).
