Your mission
You will become part of our hardware development team and work on developing the most advanced quantum computers to date. As a working student in mechanical engineering, you will support our team in the design, manufacture, and assembly of precision optomechanical components.
Your profile
Skills:
  • Studying as mechanical engineer / aerospace / applied physics / electrical engineering or similar
  • Solid 3D-design skills, ideally in Solidworks
  • Knowledge on common design principles
  • Experience in creation of technical drawings
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
Supplementary Skills (optional):
  • Programming (Python)
  • Thermal design
  • Optical / Optomechanical design
  • Hands-on Manufacturing (Lathe, Mill, etc.)
Please note that you will have to be on site in Garching (Munich) and therefore already live in the surrounding area.
