The position encompasses all aspects of customer service and requires a professional, positive and solution‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Daily Business in Workplace Operations – Basic Level of Work Performance: The employee provides active involvement in daily operations, handling tasks based on orders in MS Planner, MS Outlook, and MS Teams. This includes deeply engaging in daily orders such as furniture assembly, transport from A to B, repairs, and replacement of office and kitchen equipment in breakrooms. The employee offers hands‑on assistance in delivering office equipment, conducting regular checks of equipment status, delivering printer paper and laminating foil, installing foil on windows, preparing events, receiving goods, storing and delivering them, mounting TVs on walls, mounting pictures on walls, and many other tasks where proactive support ensures smooth workplace functionality.
Support Events – Basic Level of Work Performance: The employee provides support and full involvement in the assembly and disassembly of large and small events, starting with smaller gatherings at locations like Bar Y, Funkhaus, or Globus, including onboarding sessions and others, up to major events such as Christmas celebrations, works council meetings, events at EOL, and more.
Equipment around Workplaces – Basic Level of Work Performance: The employee provides support in the distribution of office equipment, breakroom items and other workplace essentials such as desks, chairs and extension cords. In IT equipment tasks, associates are deeply involved in installing new setups (monitors, keyboards, mice). For AV equipment, workplace associates actively assist in installing TV holders.
Logistics in Workplace Operations – Basic Level of Work Performance: The employee provides support in logistics processes, including receiving deliveries, storage, delivery and transport from point A to B.

Qualifications

1 year of experience as a Workplace Associate or in a similar position.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service and a can‑do attitude.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams).
Interpersonal skills – professional and mature manner when interacting with our internal clients, the department staff and our vendors.
Ready to take care of multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and eager to learn and try new tasks.
Available to work any shift, including nights and weekends as needed to meet business needs.
Ability to independently handle simple tasks while being willing to tackle more complex assignments with the guidance and support of experienced colleagues.
Willing to sit, stand, bend, stoop for long periods of time.
Ability to learn to handle and use small power tools.
Ability to wear PPE: safety glasses, vests, safety shoes and hard hats.
Able to lift 50+ lbs.
Willingness to get forklift certified.
Communicative proficiency in both English and German.
Driver license B.
