• Oversee a team of project managers to plan, execute, and monitor R&D and product development projects.
• Establish and maintain standardized project management methodologies, tools, and reporting structures.
• Ensure project alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies to secure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the mechanical prototype workshop, ensuring high quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Optimize workshop processes, resources, and technologies to support rapid iteration and innovation.
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of workshop equipment, tools, and materials.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, research centers, and academic institutions.
• Coordinate joint research projects, internships, and thesis opportunities.
• Represent the company in academic forums, conferences, and research consortia.
• Support talent identification and recruitment from partner institutions.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering project management, prototype development, or R&D leadership.
• Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and complex technical projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience collaborating with universities and research institutions is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with modern project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
• Fluent in English and additional languages (e.g., German) are an advantage.
