Overview

Role: Structural Engineer

Location: Berlin, Germany

Employment Type: Long term Contract

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in Berlin for an exciting bridge construction project . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel structures and prior experience working on bridge design and construction . This role offers the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure in one of Germany's key urban areas.

Key Responsibilities

Structural analysis and design of steel bridge components in accordance with German and European standards (e.g., Eurocode, DIN).
Coordination with architects, civil engineers, and construction teams throughout all project phases.
Preparation of technical documentation, calculations, and drawings.
Site inspections and construction supervision to ensure quality and compliance with plans.
Participation in project meetings with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
Ensuring timely delivery of engineering outputs within budget and project timelines.

Requirements

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Dipl.-Ing., B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent).
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in bridge construction and steel structures .
Strong knowledge of relevant German and European building codes and standards.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RSTAB, SOFiSTiK, SCIA, or similar).
Excellent German language skills (C1 or above, written and spoken).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high engineering standards.
