Subsystem Engineer (m/f/d) - Electrical Power Systems

Your Tasks

• Technicalresponsible for the electrical power subsystem for a given project frompredevelopment up to inorbit commissioning
• Electrical power subsystem design authority towards customers and subcontractors
• Design, sizing andtrade-offs of electrical power subsystems for satellite applications
• Assessment andevaluation of electrical power subsystem relevant concept trades acrossfeasibility and predevelopment studies
• Analysis of systemrequirements and flow-down to electrical power subsystem requirements
• Definition andmaintenance of electrical power subsystem units specifications
• Proposal preparationincluding evaluation of subcontractor proposals
• Production andmaintenance of EPS design and verification documentation
• Responsible forelectrical power subsystem reviews
• Support to systemand other subsystem reviews
• Cooperation withproject team, system engineering and other divisions
• Development of theelectrical power subsystem verification, onsite support during testingphase

Your Qualifications

• Degree inelectrical/aerospace engineering or comparable qualification
• Professionalexperience in phase B/C/D in satellite electrical power systems oran electrical power system equipment development
• Excellent communication skills
• High degree of flexibility
• Enjoy teamwork in large projects
• Ability to workefficiently and independently
• Proactivity
• Fluency in spokenand written English, German would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel
