Description: Armstrong Service Inc. (ASI), in partnership with Arconic, is hiring a Full-time Utility Supervisor in Bettendorf, Iowa. All benefits start on the first day of the job. Utility Supervisors are responsible for customer utility systems, reporting to a Regional Service Manager, and working with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include maintenance and operation of boilers, water treatment, hot water, and compressed air systems, supporting factory operations, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Duties also include routine plant operations, maintenance, and supporting other Armstrong Service projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Leadership skills, knowledge of thermodynamics and chemistry related to utility equipment
• Preferred technical licenses (boiler, HVAC, etc.)
• Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours, including weekends and holidays
• Understanding of business, management, and financial principles
• Ability to delegate, monitor performance, and improve team efficiency
• Knowledge of personnel management, training, and labor relations
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• Critical listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Mathematical proficiency and understanding of equipment alignment and testing
• Safety training and equipment use
• Computer proficiency, including CMMS/ERP systems

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of office equipment and communication devices
• Customer-facing, organized, detail-oriented, and communicative
• Ability to handle sensitive information and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision

Education and Experience: Associates degree or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience
