Overview

You are enthusiastic about data engineering and you want to help in supporting and optimizing BI solutions. You have a basic understanding of BI in Azure and a strong desire to learn, particularly in areas such as data pipelines, error management, and visualization.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding our BI solutions.
Handle support requests independently through the ticket system, actively contributing to solution development.
Support customers with tasks such as :
Managing data loading jobs
Error handling, including logging, documentation, resolution, or escalation
Collaborate with the support team to maintain, enhance, and ensure the reliability of our BI systems hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Optimize and manage Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database, as well as Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
Stay updated with advancements in Microsoft Azure and Power BI technologies through continuous learning.
Provide insights and recommendations for best practices in data management and system optimization.
Participate in knowledge-sharing activities, learn from experienced team members, and progress along a structured career development path.

Requirements

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Passion for data engineering and business intelligence.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI or other reporting tool
Fluent English and German written and spoken.
Strong willingness to learn and grow.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Being open minded, motivated, and self-organized.

Nice to have

Hands on experience with Cloud platform. Microsoft Azure is preferable. Particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, C#.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or Business Administration or related field.
Knowledge of data modelling techniques and data warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of basic ERP Processes in the Frontend (e.g. Process a Purchase order, Process a sales order)
