Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for the entire AIT project.
• Define AIT integration flow for space elements (Payload, Unit, or Instrument) following project documentation (AIV plan, AIT plan, DDVP, etc.).
• Prepare, organize, and lead Environmental Test Campaigns.
• Develop concepts for Test MGSE (mechanical and thermal).
• Collaborate closely with various technical departments.
• Ensure technical coherence and consistency of AIT documents, setups, and approaches.
• Support and conduct standard reviews (IRR, TRR, PTR, TRB) and project reviews with the AIT Manager.
• Represent the AIT approach in reviews.
• Conduct inspections, maintain log sheets, and compile non-conformance and problem reports in collaboration with product assurance.
• Assess problems with proper documentation.

Candidate Profile

• University degree or equivalent in electronics, physics, electrical, mechatronics, industrial, aerospace engineering, or related fields.
• Several years of professional experience in space projects, especially in system engineering or AIT.
• Experience with CAD and FEA tools is advantageous.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Innovative approach to AIT methods and testing.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills; German language skills are a plus.
