Embedded Systems Engineer – CNC & C++ – 100% Remote



Your Responsibilities

• Develop and redesign the system architecture for CNC embedded firmware – from concept and design to implementation
• Analyse existing structures and build a modular, high-performance, and future-proof architecture
• Develop in C++20 using modern software engineering practices and Test-Driven Development
• Model and document architecture using UML
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams in an Agile/Scrum environment and integrate solutions into complex CNC systems


Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in system development and architecture in embedded environments
• Excellent skills in C++ (C++20) and object-oriented architecture design (including UML)
• Deep understanding of CNC systems – not only at the application level but also at the architecture and firmware level
• Experience in agile software development (Scrum) and ideally in motion control, robotics, or CNC applications
• English at C1 level; German language skills are a plus
