Requirements
- Successfully completed technical or scientific studies or IT-related training
- Relevant professional experience in Microsoft system administration in general
- Expertise with Citrix and other large HA virtualization environments in particular
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft server environment (Windows Server 2016 – Windows Server 2022)
- Experience in administering Exchange (ideally in a cluster), MS SQL, and other Microsoft-based applications
- Ideally, initial experience with automation technologies such as Ansible, SCCM, Powershell, or similar
- Very good written and spoken German skills (C1 level) are essential
- Class B driver's license
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Build and operate highly available virtualization environments with Citrix
- Support and advise our customers on the operation of complex Microsoft server landscapes
- Use your experience with terminal services and virtual workplace infrastructures (VDI)
- Keep the big picture in mind and be primarily responsible for administering and monitoring complex customer platforms, as well as implementing changes.
- Speak the customer's language, understand their requirements, develop concepts, and take over technical planning and implementation.
- Continuously commit to improving the quality and performance of "your" customer platforms.
- Be creative and find and implement solid technical solutions to optimally meet customer requirements.
- Solve problems independently and directly or coordinate their resolution.
- Share your knowledge and activities with the team.
- Document your installations and configurations clearly and expect the same transparency within the team.
