Network, Systems and Support Engineer with service desk leadership . Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server environments, and enterprise networking. This role requires a technical professional capable of supporting our hybrid infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between cloud services and on-premises systems while maintaining optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities will include:

Network Infrastructure Management:

• Design, configure, and maintainrouters, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks .
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues.
• Implement and manageVLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and QoS policies .
• Ensure network security by configuringfirewalls (Cisco ASA, Sophos, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and NAC solutions .
• Performnetwork capacity planning and scalability assessments.

Responsibilities Cont.

Server & Systems Administration:

• Deploy, manage, and maintainWindows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Terminal server environments.
• AdministerActive Directory, O365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Azure AD .
• Managevirtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Implementbackup, disaster recovery (DR), and high-availability (HA) solutions .

Service Desk Leadership

• ResolveTier 2/3 escalationsfor complex O365/network/server issues
• Mentor junior staff onroot cause analysis methodologies
• Maintainknowledge basewith advanced troubleshooting guides

Responsibilities Cont.

Security & Compliance:

• Apply security patches, firmware updates, and vulnerability remediations.
• EnforceZero Trust, least privilege access, and network segmentation .

Automation & Optimization:

• Automate repetitive tasks usingPowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible .
• Optimize server and network performance throughload balancing, caching, and traffic shaping .
• Document network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures

Responsibilities Cont.

• Work with IT teams to resolve escalatedTier 3 infrastructure issues.
• Assist indata center migrations, cloud transitions, and network upgrades .
• Provide guidance tojunior engineers and service desk team

Required Experience & Knowledge

Education

• BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field

Experience

• 3-5 years total experiencein combined systems/network administration
• 2+ years specifically managing O365 environments(SharePoint/Teams)
• 3+ years Windows Server administrationin production environments
• Network troubleshooting experiencewith Wireshark/ping/traceroute
• PowerShell scriptingproficiency for automation tasks
• Customer intimacy: Ability to understand what value your customer wants and how you can deliver it.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None

Hybrid Role- 3 days per week on site and 2 days from home

Required to travel to all EU sites:25-50%
