For our client Airbus D&S at the Manching location, we are currently filling the following position:

System Engineer (f/m/d) Flight Management Systems

Your Tasks

Capture and analyze requirements for military and civil Flight Management and Guidance Systems.
Design and develop FMS concepts, architectures, and automation functions for RPAS integration.
Develop Flight Guidance functions and support Verification & Validation, including lab, ground, and flight tests.
Manage suppliers and subcontractors throughout the development process.
Support standardization and certification efforts with international regulatory bodies.
Contribute to in-service support and participate in research activities.

Your Qualifications

Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Aerospace.
Experience in Systems Engineering is mandatory.
Background in Flight Management Systems or similar is required.
Familiarity with UAV/RPAS is beneficial.
Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and SCADE.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
