System Integration Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer with a strong background in IT, software, operating technology (OT), and automation. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in systems integration, with 6-10 years of experience in OT and Automation, delivering large scale complex capital projects. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and automation systems to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and support strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

6+ years of experience in Operating Technology (OT) and Automation
6+ years of experience working on large scale and complex capital projects
Business transformation and change
Lead the design, implementation, and testing of integrated IT and OT systems, including software, automation, and operational technology platforms.
Manage end-to-end project delivery for integration initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical requirements are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, engineering, and vendors, to define system requirements and integration strategies.
Develop and maintain integration documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operation.
Identify integration challenges, recommend solutions, and implement best practices to optimize system performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and digital transformation programs.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and project teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of automation systems, industrial protocols, software integration, and IT/OT convergence.
Proven ability to manage complex integration projects from conception to delivery.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
