The Position

The Information Solutions unit is responsible for technical and application customer service as well as service for digital solutions. As a System Administrator for Workflow Applications, your area of responsibility includes:

• You are independently responsible for the implementation of navify Digital Solutions (a middleware solution for controlling laboratory automation systems) from preparation to installation, system configuration, training, and final handover to customers.
• You conduct comprehensive migrations of existing to future navify Digital Solutions for our customers across Germany.
• You coordinate essential content and details for workflow configuration with customers, as well as external and internal interfaces.
• You are dedicated to independent fault analysis of Roche navify Digital Solutions on-site and telephone customer consulting with passion.
• Additionally, you support the sales organization with tenders, system presentations on-site, or accompanying reference visits.
• The independent completion of updates to navify Digital Solutions and the connection of new analysis systems to the software also belong to your tasks.

Who You Are

For the role of System Administrator, you have a successfully completed degree (B. Eng, M. Eng/M. Sc., Dipl. Ing.) in Medical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering, Technical Computer Science/Information Technology, or Automation Technology. Ideally, you also have at least 3 years of professional experience in field service in the diagnostics field. Furthermore, you can demonstrate extensive knowledge in configuring medical software and have in-depth knowledge in the area of databases (Caché and Oracle) and are familiar with SQL programming.

Additional points that round out your profile:

• You have acquired in-depth knowledge in the areas of hospital networking and network technology, as well as EDV interfaces.
• You are enthusiastic about service activities and tasks in the field service, are very well self-organized, and have high self-initiative and motivation.
• You are very familiar with the application of control/operating software and are very skilled in handling IT systems (networks, Microsoft server operating systems, and applications).
• You can demonstrate knowledge of processes in medical large laboratories and have an interest in configuring IT systems.
• You have a talent for understanding complex contexts, condensing complex content, and communicating simply and understandably.
• You speak English fluently, also in a technical environment.
• You possess a driver's license, look forward to nationwide business trips, and are willing to take over emergency and standby services also on weekends and holidays.
