Position : Team Coach and SCRUM Consultant

Location : Nuremberg-Munich, Germany

Type : Full-time / 80% Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as central contact and lead consultant for agile implementation
• Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
• Enable team maturity through retrospectives, workshops, and hands-on support
• Enhance collaboration across multiple teams (scaling)
• Implement and refine Kanban and Scrum frameworks
• Remove organizational and technical impediments
• Promote continuous improvement using metrics (WIP, lead time, cumulative flow, etc.)
• Support change initiatives based on agile principles

Work Location

• ~80% Remote
• ~20% On-site in Nuremberg (occasionally in Munich )
• Travel costs reimbursed only if required to locations outside Nuremberg/Munich

Required Qualifications

1. Certifications (Must-Have / A-Criteria)

The candidate must possess both:

• Advanced Scrum Certification , e.g., Professional Scrum Master III (scrum.org), CSP-SM (Scrum Alliance), ICE-AC (ICAgile)
• Advanced Kanban Certification , e.g., Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP), Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT), Accredited Kanban Consultant (AKC)

Lower-level or alternative certifications (e.g., PSM II, TKP) are not accepted , even with practical experience.

2. Experience

• Minimum of 200 person-days (PT) in Agile Coaching with comparable responsibilities (team coaching, scaling, Scrum support)
• Experience in at least two reference projects demonstrating this effort
• Experience in large-scale environments with >10 development teams is preferred
• Familiarity with public-sector IT environments or similar complexity (e.g., BMFTR) is advantageous

3. Compliance Knowledge (Informational)

• ISO 37301 compliance certification preferred
• Alternatively: ISO 9001 + internal compliance guidelines + published sustainability report (not mandatory)

4. Language Skills : Proficiency in German at B2-C2 level is required

Team Composition

• The role may be shared by up to two part-time professionals
• Each individual must meet all qualification requirements independently (certifications and experience)

Availability Requirements

• On-demand availability (service-on-call model)
• Timing for tasks will be jointly defined with the client
• No immediate response obligation upon notification
• Delivery based on functional needs

Project Timeline

• Certification programs must be started before offer submission
• Certificates must be submitted within 2 weeks after contract award

Legal/Contractual Notes

• Indefinite non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
• Freelance subcontractors permitted under certain conditions:
• No employment relationship with the client
• Coordination remains at organizational level
• Liability limited to one's sphere of influence; no guarantees required
