Team Lead Functional Safety for System Software (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

1. Disciplinary and technical leadership of the team, including task coordination and resource planning.
2. Testing and assessment of embedded software components for national and international customers.
3. Responsibility for technical and quality assurance, including reviews and certifications of embedded software components (firmware, basis software, software functionalities for system functions) in compliance with functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 13849, etc.).
4. Building and expanding team capacity and expertise.
5. Close coordination with other team leads and department management, especially regarding system projects involving hardware and software parts.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in functional safety and/or development of embedded software components.
• Initial experience in technical leadership, preferably with disciplinary responsibilities.
• Decisive action and enthusiasm for innovation.
• Flexibility and enjoyment of teamwork with a focus on long-term success.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20-30%).
• Excellent English and good German skills, both written and spoken.
