TEAM LEAD INFRASTRUCTURE & OPERATION (m/w/d)

As Team Lead Infrastructure & Operations (m/f/d) , you are the key figure for the operation and further development of our IT infrastructure. You combine in-depth knowledge of established IT technologies with a clear view of modern approaches such as cloud computing, automation and DevOps. Together with your team, you ensure that our IT remains future-proof.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the strategic planning, operation and continuous development of our global IT infrastructure.
• Your responsibilities also include the integration of modern technologies, such as cloud services, container solutions (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) and automation tools.
• You will be responsible for a global team of specialists and will act as a point of contact for all relevant stakeholders.
• You ensure compliance with security guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• You support the introduction and application of best practices such as ITIL, DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code.
• In doing so, you ensure smooth collaboration with internal groups and other departments, as well as external partners and service providers.
• You will support the development of your team through coaching, training and individual support, fostering an open, solution-oriented team culture where innovation and efficiency go hand in hand.
• By identifying and introducing new technologies at an early stage, you will promote the company’s innovative strength.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics or a similar field of study.
• You have in-depth knowledge of established IT technologies and modern approaches such as cloud computing, automation and DevOps, as well as IT service management processes, and you can demonstrate proven practical experience in implementing and managing these technologies.
• You have project experience in the implementation and support of IT solutions and have already worked in similar positions for several years.
• You continuously develop your skills and keep up with new developments in project management, modern technologies and best practices.
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills and work efficiently even under time pressure and heavy workloads.
• You enjoy working in a team, are assertive when needed, can handle conflict, and can convince others of your ideas.
• As a manager, you see yourself as a mentor to your team members, challenging and encouraging them.
• With business-fluent German and English, you work confidently on an international level and you are open to traveling for work.
