Job Description
We are expanding our Application Software Team to accelerate the development of clinical devices like the CliniMACS Prodigy by establishing a new group focused on Application Software lifecycle management and verification.


• With your team, you will play a key role in verifying application software commands and procedures, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• As the group leader, you will be responsible for both the technical direction and disciplinary leadership of your team.
• Your responsibilities will include handling software complaints, implementing bug fixes , and supporting Software lifecycle management activities for our clinical devices.
• Documentation of your activities according to design control guidelines and standards
• Your group ensures the robustness, compliance and high quality of application software systems.
  
  
Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field and several years of professional experience in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry
• Proven leadership experience in either a disciplinary or technical capacity, with strong team management and communication skills
• Expertise in software verification and laboratory automation within regulated environments
• Solid knowledge of (IEC 62304 and DIN EN ISO 13485) Knowledge in object-oriented programming, preferably Java or C++ is a plus, ideally with a focus on embedded systems
• Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus
