• For the Communication and Information Center (kiz) Department Information Systems we are looking for a
• Team leader for finance, reporting and document management systems (m/f/d)
• Do you want to actively shape the digitalization of Ulm University's administration in the areas of ERP and electronic file management? Then come and join us!
• With around 140 employees, kiz is the second largest central institution at Ulm University and provides services for research, teaching, studies and administration in the areas of library, information technology and media.
• The Information Systems department operates the application systems for the university administration and the library services of the kiz and develops or implements IT applications as part of projects. It is also responsible for the provision and support of scientific software systems.
• You can expect an exciting and varied position with independent tasks in the science-supporting area.

Your profile

• Completed academic studies at a university (Diploma, Master) or college (Master) in (business) computer science or comparable as well as several years of relevant professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of the introduction, support and further development of ERP systems, in particular SAP S/4HANA
• Several years of experience in dealing with university and administration-specific IT solutions (e.g. HISinOne, research information systems, document and data warehouse systems)
• Confident handling of classic and agile project management methods
• In-depth knowledge of financial processes and experience in statistics and data analysis an advantage
• Detailed knowledge of technical IT security methods in the areas of operating systems, networks and the application systems used (university level) as well as interface technologies
• Basic knowledge of English and very good written and spoken German (C2)
• Ability to work in a team, under pressure, independent working style and strong communication skills

Team leader

• Technical and organizational team leadership
• Development and implementation of strategic/operational goals
• Resource and budget planning incl. reporting
• Strategic system development and technology evaluation

Project management & security

• Management of IT projects (introduction, optimization, migration, digitization)
• Coordination of participating specialist and IT departments
• Definition, implementation and adaptation of security measures

Serviceowner reporting

• Operation of SAP BI/BO and SAP BW
• Coordination of the overall business intelligence strategy
• Development, customization and implementation of reports
