Overview

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management lead for the Germany location (Oberpfaffenhofen) to oversee and implement CM processes, tools and governance within the DOA (Direct aircraft design) scope.

Responsibilities

• maintain a configuration management strategy for EASA DOA
• oversee and maintain the configuration management database to ensure all information is accurate and up to date
• implement CM relevant data in the Configuration Management PLM System
• support and mentor colleagues in using the relevant software tools (Siemens Teamcenter)
• ensure that all changes are managed through a clearly defined change management process, minimizing any impact on DOA's operations
• develop and maintain policies and procedures related to configuration management
• take overall responsibility for the location Germany (Oberpfaffenhofen) including leading a small team
• participate in authority audits when required
• organize Change Control Boards
• manage data exchange with suppliers and partners using the DSG Data Exchange tool and confirm data status

Qualifications

• hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• bring solid experience in configuration management or a related discipline
• have strong knowledge of ITIL and related frameworks
• have proven experience in leading a team of configuration management professionals
• are familiar with SAP ERP systems and Siemens Teamcenter PLM software
• ideally have experience with composite manufacturing (glass fiber, wet laminate)
• have good English language skills
