What You'll Do
This role combines product and technical expertise, bridging business needs with technical execution. Working closely with consultants and reporting to C-Level executives, you’ll transform complex AI capabilities into strategic business outcomes. You’ll lead the Engineering team and the design and development of GenAI solutions, aligning business vision with technical feasibility to create impactful use cases across sectors.

• Innovate AI Solutions: Drive the creation and development of groundbreaking AI use cases and prototypes, collaborating closely with AI engineers and the broader team to bring visionary ideas to life
• Simplify Complexity: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language, aligning stakeholders and ensuring everyone is working towards shared goals
• Optimize Development Cycles: Balance technical feasibility with business value to ensure efficient product development cycles that deliver maximum impact
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Guide diverse teams in defining product requirements, developing strategic roadmaps, and delivering transformative AI-driven solutions that propel our business forward
• Guide Software Development: Oversee and mentor software development efforts, primarily in Python, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions
• Facilitate Workshops: Play a crucial role in organizing and delivering engaging workshops, particularly in GenAI, by explaining the technological capabilities vividly and tangible
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of the latest AI and GenAI trends to make informed architectural decisions that keep us at the cutting edge.
  

What You Bring
Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven track record in AI product development of at least 2 years and a lead role in software development of at least 5-7 years
• Expertise in bridging between business requirements and technical teams (engineers and data scientists)
• Strong track record in conceptualizing and building AI/GenAI solutions from scratch
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, technical projects
• Experience in conducting workshops for a business audience on technical topics
• Strong commitment to clean, maintainable code while balancing rapid development and efficient coding practices
• Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical topics for diverse audiences
• Strong experience in Python, particularly with standard GenAI libraries (non-exhaustive): DSPy, LangGraph, PydanticAI, crewAI
• Experience in designing and managing scalable infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring robust system operations
• Willingness to work within a multidisciplinary and entrepreneurial team
• Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and C-level executives
• Proficiency in English and German: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages
  

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field
• Experience in a fast-paced and/or entrepreneurial environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic company
