Description

We are looking for a technical accountant in our team to support our underwriters and their clients across Continental Europe as well as the Middle East. This role reports to the TransRe Europe Head of Technical Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Processing incoming accounts and compare with treaty conditions/statistics.
• Monitoring, collecting and reconciling cash receipts for treaty account balances.
• Ensuring timely and efficient settlement of Technical Payments.
• Analyzing treaty results and its impact on overall financials in order to generate meaningful information for management.
• Understanding the accounting processes and controls to implement improvements and efficiencies.
• Assisting in the quarter close process.
• Working with personnel from other departments to resolve issues.

Your profile / Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or auditing.
• Written and oral fluency in English, other languages as a plus.
• Accounting experience in a (re)insurance company is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship in accounting, finance or related field.
• Ability to analyze data and come up with process improvements.
