This leading semiconductor company urgently seeks a Technical Application Engineer for their technical and customer support group based at their R+D Centre in Munich.

The Technical Application Engineer will work as part of a small, high-calibre team supporting video interface software and hardware products, including communication interfaces (DisplayPort, HDMI, Ethernet, I2C, SPI), to external and internal customers. This includes supporting customers and partners worldwide for high-resolution real-time video and audio channels, primarily for the automotive market. The engineer will collaborate closely with embedded software and hardware development teams.

Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or similar, with several years of experience supporting customers and colleagues in solving complex electronic problems within video, audio, or similar product development projects. Hands-on skills should include hardware-near programming of microcontrollers or embedded Linux software in C or C++, with a proven track record of resolving technical issues while working closely with customers. Exposure to DisplayPort, I2C, SPI, HDMI, or Ethernet is beneficial.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the EU and fluent in both German and English.
