About the Role

As a Technical Customer Support Engineer , your responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for B2B customers and partners on all "AVES Launcher" topics, including installation, workflow questions, data import/export, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving technical issues based on customer feedback; writing small bug-fix patches in Python or C++, or collaborating with Engineering on deeper fixes.
  • Working closely with Product and Engineering teams to triage, prioritize bugs, and verify feature requests.
  • Maintaining and expanding our knowledge base, including how-to guides and video tutorials, and providing feedback for product and UX improvements.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in technical support, DevOps, or software engineering, preferably supporting graphics, geospatial, gaming, or SaaS products.
  • Possess solid debugging skills and proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ or other compiled languages is a plus.
  • Be familiar with 3D file formats (.gltf, .obj, .fbx), GIS workflows (e.g., QGIS), and 3D engines (Unreal, Unity, Blender).
  • Have experience with ticketing systems like Jira, ClickUp, or GitHub Issues, and the ability to read logs.
  • Communicate clearly in English and German with an empathetic approach to customer problems.
