Technical Sales Engineer (m/w/d) Slip Rings – Wabtec Corporation

Responsibilities

Identify customer technical requirements early and help shape specifications.
Apply expertise to advise customers on product features and specifications.
Represent our PL portfolio at customer visits, through regular communications, and at trade shows.
Manage tenders from inquiry to contract signing and coordinate with engineering and project management teams.
Create offers according to mandate and present them to customers.
Analyze calculations (TMC, Mark Up, etc.) and implement targeted optimization potentials.
Ensure offers are prepared and handed over within defined budgets and timelines.
Collaborate closely with Product Management and R&D.

Qualifications

A degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering or a related field with relevant focus.
Several years of experience in engineering and in the Slip Ring field.
Professional experience in technical sales and customer support, ideally in Charging & Power Transfer.
Strong technical understanding and entrepreneurial thinking.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Independent, solution-oriented work style with strong team spirit.
Ability to understand cross-department processes and work across functions.
Proficient in German and English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel internationally.
