Stellenbeschreibung:

Technical Sales Expert (f/m/d) Arresters, Insulators and Overheadlines

A Snapshot of Your Day

High‑voltage overhead lines are the backbone of electrical power transmission. With the shift from fossil power plants to renewable energy generation and the increasing demand for electrical energy, the often older systems are at the limit of their transmission capacity. Since the approval for the construction of new systems takes a long time, "Dynamic Line Rating" of existing lines is a sensible alternative. Surge arresters are an important component for the safe operation of distribution and transmission networks. They protect transformers from damage caused by lightning strikes. In your daily work, you will develop optimal solutions together with our customers to meet current challenges. A holistic approach, consisting of consulting, analysis, monitoring, and product selection, is always at the forefront.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Comprehensive consulting for customers regarding Dynamic Line Rating (consulting on the analysis of the line condition with SieAero, uprating the line using GridPulse, increasing transmission capacity using optimized insulators and arresters)
  • Advising our customers on the selection of the optimal arrester for their requirements
  • Conducting training on the proper selection and configuration of arresters, as well as selecting suitable monitoring systems for arresters and presenting them to customers
  • Supporting customers and our sales partners in using the EnergyShop
  • Collaborating with regional sales, factories, and monitoring and service departments
  • Preparing offers for consulting services and handling them

What You Bring

  • Completed university degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, high voltage technology, or comparable courses of study
  • Several years of experience in creating offer designs for arresters and insulators, or comparable activities in product management, development of arresters
  • Experience with data collection and evaluation of monitoring systems, ideally in the context of high‑voltage overhead lines
  • Analytical skills and a systematic, analytical and goal‑oriented approach to solving complex tasks
  • Basic commercial knowledge, as well as fluency in German and English
  • Strong team and communication skills
