Have you built a successful career in sales of chemical products and are now looking to grow further on an international level? Then we should talk!

For our client, a successful, globally operating, owner-managed company in the plastics and rubber industry with over 100 employees, sustainable relationship management with national and international customers is the key to success. You will maintain close contact and regular exchange with the customers, identifying both market and client potential at an early stage and successfully converting these opportunities into long-term business.

Wiesbaden, mobile working

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales responsibility for a defined region / product group :

  • Manage, expand, and strategically develop existing customer relationships within the assigned European countries, including regular business travel within the sales region.
  • Take responsibility for sales and margin development in your region.
  • Ensure strong relationships with key customers, identify and acquire new customers and develop new market segments.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners, supporting their sales efforts with product and application expertise, including joint visits and market development activities.
  • Provide training for distribution partners on products and applications and oversee machinery projects
  • Deliver training and expert consulting to colleagues and customers on your specific product group while serving as the key contact for product-related inquiries.

Strategic tasks and reporting :

  • Conduct market and competitor analyses for your region and product group.
  • Define, monitor, and achieve sales targets and action plans.
  • Provide regular reports to sales management through visit reports and maintaining the CRM system.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Successfully completed technical degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or process engineering; alternatively, a degree in business administration combined with strong technical affinity
  • Several years of professional experience and proven success in an internationally operating company within the rubber industry or as a rubber supplier
  • High willingness to travel internationally in Europe (approx. 20-30%)
  • Strong technical English skills, additional languages beneficial.
  • Confident appearance in front of customers and ability to communicate persuasively across different hierarchical levels
  • Independent and self-organized working style as well as commitment, resilience, and reliability
