About This Role GIT (basic)
You will work on our modern React/Typescript/GraphQL/PostgreSQL-based application as well as its backend services to help us maintain the high level of trust we have earned with our customers. Key for this is to continue extending the amount of functionality that is covered by tests while our software and team grows.

We do this primarily using automated end-2-end (Cypress) and integration (Jest) tests. So you will need at least a foundational knowledge of Typescript and HTML plus the ability to critically analyse issues. You diagnose (sometimes vague) customer descriptions or use your instincts to spot issues nobody has even found yet! Knowledge in the area of user experience is definitely helpful. On the other hand, expertise in creating / executing manual test plans will not be of use.

To sum it up: This is the perfect opportunity to apply the coding and UX skills you gained during your studies and test them in a professional environment, helping to resolve real world issues.


Responsibilities

• Analyze customer-reported issues and translate them into clear, reproducible steps.
• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Cypress and integration tests with Jest.
• Validate and verify newly implemented features to ensure proper functionality.
• Conduct exploratory testing


Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with React and a good understanding of user experience principles.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with GIT for version control.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
