Thermal Management Development Engineer (m/f/d)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Thermal Management plays a crucial role in the design of our machines and the LPBF process in general. Tackle this challenge together with highly skilled experts from around the globe and:

Design, conduct and analyze experiments on our latest machine generation
Develop, build and operate test rigs for thermal management
Deep dive into topics to create long lasting, reliable solutions
Interact with colleagues across the organization to efficiently solve your challenges

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Strong background in thermodynamics with 3+ years experience
Master's Degree or equivalent certification in the field of engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical) or Physics
The principles of system engineering are known to you
Ability to perform your own data analysis using state of the art software tools
Hands on mentality; you are able to manage your projects from start to finish independently
A background in Laser Powder Bed Fusion or similar Additive Manufacturing techniques is favorable
Fluency in English
