Your tasks

• Design and develop an inline material characterization system using various sensors.
• Conduct literature research on sensor systems and polymer material characterization.
• Plan and execute experiments, collect data, and perform data analysis with evaluation tools.
• Document findings and results in a structured and professional manner.

Your profile

• Currently studying polymer technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of sensor technology, polymer material behaviour and injection‑molding processes.
• Hands‑on experience with data analysis and programming (e.g., Python) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English and German, with a willingness to write the thesis in English.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and passion for introducing innovative ideas.
• Proactive, team‑oriented, and adaptable personality.
