Job Description

We are looking for a forward‑thinking and results‑oriented Third‑Party Risk Management & Outsourcing Officer (f/m/d). The role is based in our Munich office and reports directly to the Head of Operational Governance.

In this role you will advance our third‑party risk management capabilities in alignment with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), implementing a comprehensive TPRM framework, overseeing third‑party relationships and ensuring compliance with DORA and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all third‑party relationships and associated processes comply with DORA and other regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin).
  • Review and update TPRM and Outsourcing policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Group to align TPRM and Outsourcing activities with overall regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Lead the execution of the TPRM lifecycle for both existing and new third‑party relationships.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing monitoring processes to assess the performance and risk profile of third‑party vendors.
  • Maintain and update third‑party inventories, conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with business owners to support them throughout the TPRM lifecycle and provide guidance on vendor selection, onboarding and management.
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs for business owners.
  • Collaborate with key functions (Procurement, Risk Management, Legal, Data Privacy, Information Security, Compliance) as a key facilitator and strategic partner.
  • Ensure risk management efforts are integrated with broader organizational strategies and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Law, Risk Management or related field.
  • Professional experience in third‑party risk management or outsourcing within regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DORA, BaFin regulations and other relevant frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross‑functionally.
