Our Power Trading Team in Oslo is looking for you!

Your responsibilities

1. Manage individual trading portfolios across power and carbon.
2. Interact closely with analysts to develop successful trading strategies and ideas.
3. Support asset optimisation and dynamic hedging activities.
4. Participate actively in developing forecasting models.

Your profile

1. Minimum 5 years of proprietary trading experience from the Nordic market with both standard and non-standard products.
2. Experience from an international trading house or major utility focusing on the Nordic Region, including managing individual portfolios.
3. Trading experience in adjacent markets such as German power, Coal, CO2, Elcert, and GoO.
4. Detailed knowledge of the fundamental specifications of the Nordic thermal and hydro system.
5. Good knowledge and a steep learning curve regarding the German power market fundamentals.
6. Strong analytical, meteorological, structuring, pricing, and model building skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, be a team player, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Fluency in English and one of the following Nordic languages: Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish.
