Job Summary: Join our customer's team as a Transportation Manager - AI Trainer and play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of intelligent transportation solutions. Leverage your logistics, route optimization, and policy expertise to train advanced AI systems that improve real-world transportation efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and generate training prompts that reflect real-world scenarios in route optimization, carrier negotiations, and driver scheduling.
• Review, validate, and enhance logistics datasets to ensure accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
• Apply deep knowledge of DOT compliance and fleet maintenance to inform AI training modules and best practices.
• Translate complex transportation policies, SOPs, and regulatory frameworks into structured data for AI learning.
• Model and document decision-making processes for risk mitigation and incident resolution, providing nuanced insights to AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and expand transportation data inputs for AI use cases.
• Contribute to the development of user-centric AI models by articulating processes clearly in both written and verbal communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in transportation management or logistics leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in route planning, routing software, and KPI-based performance tracking.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
• Comprehensive experience with fleet operations, carrier management, and cost control.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex processes and policies clearly.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to validate and structure large data sets for operational insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI-driven logistics platforms, TMS, or optimization software.
• Background in team leadership, SOP development, or process automation.
