Responsibilities

• Cash‑ and liquidity management for all German and European Jack Wolfskin entities, including forecasting, monitoring and optimisation of cash flows.
• Creation and delivery of comprehensive treasury reports and managerial decision templates.
• Bank relationship management, including opening and maintaining bank accounts, managing signing authorisations and coordinating bank powers of attorney.
• Oversight of guarantees and letters of credit issuance and administration worldwide.
• Primary contact for cash management, payments, guarantees and bank infrastructure.
• Management and continuous improvement of bank software and systems, validating and monitoring payment transactions.
• Strategy development and execution for foreign‑exchange risk management, including exposure identification, hedging solutions and ongoing monitoring.
• Execution and control of foreign‑exchange transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations and maintaining trading relationships.
• Establishment and utilisation of a revolving credit line and financing solutions.
• Support in developing and implementing global insurance policies in close cooperation with external partners and internal departments.
• Monitoring operational insurance topics, including claims management and reporting, and ensuring adequate risk coverage across the company.
• Development and maintenance of an insurance reporting framework in line with internal and external requirements.
• Coordination of integration of new entities, sites and activities into treasury and insurance structures.
• Support of external audits and regulatory examinations (e.g., finance, operations and customs audits).
• Leadership and implementation of treasury and insurance projects and initiatives, including digitisation and automation measures.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field.
• Professional additional qualifications in Treasury or Risk Management (e.g., CTP, ACT) are an advantage.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Treasury, banking or corporate finance, ideally in an international environment.
• Fundamentals in cash‑flow planning, liquidity management, financial instruments and insurance structures.
• Track record in foreign‑exchange risk management and implementation of hedging strategies.
• Practical experience in foreign‑exchange trading and market‑risk analysis.
• Experience in external financing and credit line construction.
• Secure handling of SAP and excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and strategic abilities.
• High personal responsibility, self‑stability and proactive working style.
• Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder management.
• Structured, detail‑oriented and result‑oriented working approach.
• Team‑oriented personality with a practical and cooperative attitude.
