Job Overview

Join us as an Underwriter Facultative Liability Risks at Hannover Re. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team on a permanent basis.

You can look forward to:

• Negotiating facultative reinsurance contracts with clients from various European countries
• Assessing liability risks, underwriting them, and conducting contract negotiations
• Analyzing primary insurance and reinsurance markets
• Expanding relationships with existing clients and maintaining the portfolio
• Contributing to the development of innovative reinsurance concepts
• Attending industry events and conferences to stay informed about market trends

You come equipped with:

• A successfully completed degree in economics, law, business administration, or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in facultative reinsurance and/or primary insurance for general liability and/or financial lines
• Business fluent German and English combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel internationally for business, approximately three to four times per year
• International mindset with strong analytical, networking, and client relationship skills
