UX Designer (m/f/d) - AY Outlet - 20h - Onsite in Hamburg at ABOUT YOU. Join to apply for the UX Designer role on the AY Outlet product team. This role is part of the App & Web Team, which focuses on delivering inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experiences for our customers.

You will be responsible for developing and integrating new features and improvements daily, supporting A/B tests for every feature, and creating a style guide for the Outlet. Your expertise in research and testing will be valuable as these capabilities are not yet established in our current processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers in the Scrum team to create innovative e-commerce solutions for the ABOUT YOU Outlet mobile app and websites.
• Represent the customer’s perspective, ensuring their needs are met in new product features and developments.
• Transfer business problem statements into user-centred solutions.
• Transform feature requirements into practical and intuitive designs, delivering an exceptional user experience across digital products.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of UX Design experience in the e-commerce sector.
• Strong designer with a solid understanding of complex product structures and intricate user flows.
• Proficient in Figma, including components, prototypes, and animations.
• Strong understanding of the end user (e.g., outlet customers).
• Experience actively reviewing user feedback, reported bugs, business goals, and challenges.
• Ability to balance user needs with business requirements and technical feasibility.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions.
