We are Ziptac
We are Ziptac, a tactical gear and apparel brand based in Germany. We’re preparing a sourcing and production-focused trip to Vietnam in the next months, and we are looking for an on-the-ground assistant to help with factory research, coordination, and supplier introductions in the HCMC Garment & Textile Cluster.


This role begins with trip preparation and supplier coordination, but for the right person, it is likely to evolve into a long-term position as our local production coordinator and liaison, managing factory relationships, overseeing sampling and quality, and supporting the growth of our Vietnam operations as a key part of our international team.


INITIAL PROJECT GOALS:
• Help identify and reach out to fabric mills (Cordura, ripstop,camo-prints)
• Locate and evaluate cut & sew operations (uniforms, plate carriers, pouches, backpacks)
• Assist with outreach and communication with shortlisted suppliers
• Schedule and help coordinate meetings during our trip in October
• Prepare simple supplier overviews and summary reports
• Be available to accompany us during parts of the visit


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Based in or near Ho Chi Minh City
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English
• Experience in garment sourcing, textile production, or factory coordination
• Able to work independently and act professionally in B2B contexts
• Familiarity with Cordura, ripstop, or tactical/military gear is a big plus
• Bonus if you've previously worked with EU/US buyers


LONG TERM
