Major Responsibilities

• Oversee Entire Warehouse Operations : Manage receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution activities.
• Staff Management : Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse supervisors and teams. Set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
• Inventory & Stock Control : Ensure accurate stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and manage replenishments.
• Budgeting & Cost Control : Prepare and manage warehouse budgets. Optimize operational costs without sacrificing efficiency.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance : Enforce health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA). Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Warehouse Layout & Space Optimization : Design efficient storage systems and workflow layouts.
• System Management : Oversee use of WMS/ERP systems for real-time tracking and reporting.
• Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination : Collaborate with transport, procurement, and production teams. Ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Performance Monitoring : Set and track KPIs for warehouse productivity, accuracy, and turnaround times.
• Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement : Resolve operational issues and lead process improvement initiatives.
