Role Overview

As a Web Developer at ClipMyHorse.TV, you'll be a key player in taking our website to the next level. You'll continuously enhance the user experience, testing innovative ways for customers to find and engage with meaningful equestrian content. Your focus will be at the heart of our business, implementing features in our video player to help our customers engage with the content and reduce the distraction of advertisements. What You Can Expect:

• End-to-End Ownership: Take charge of new features, from conceptualization to implementation, launch, and impact measurement in collaboration with our product management team.
• Technology Migration: Play a central role in migrating our server-side rendered website to a Next.js base, ensuring improved maintainability and scalability.

What Makes You a Fit:

Professional Experience: Proven track record of working on media projects, focused on delivering live video and video on-demand content, and experience in implementing web-based video player solutions.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and related technologies. Experience with state management, server-side rendering, automated frontend testing, and Git.
Communication Skills: Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)

What Makes You Shine:

While not mandatory, experience or familiarity with the following is desirable:

• Next.js, React.js, Vue.js, Web Tracking (Google Tag Manager, Segment).
• Proficiency in implementing advertisement features into video players, based on the Google Ad Server
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (preferably PHP).
• Experience in remote work or within content and/or broadcast companies.
