Role DescriptionThis is a part-time Werkstudent Desktop Support position within the IT department, located in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area. This hybrid role allows for a mix of on-site and some remote work. The Working Student Desktop Support will provide support to our offices in Germany, New York, Miami, Singapore and Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to internal customers. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including but not limited to laptops, IP phones and peripheralsResolve internal customer technology incidents and requests in a timely mannerDocument and clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional wayInstall, configure, and troubleshoot software packages, operating systemsRecord, track and maintain equipment inventoryWork as part of a team QualificationsStudying towards a Master in Information Technology / Computer Science or similarFirst experience in a Desktop Support role including troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to laptops and printers (including Apple products)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating SystemsExperience with Microsoft ApplicationsExperience imaging and configuring laptopsMust be able to work flexible hoursVery strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational and communication skillsTeam playerAdvanced German and fluent English QualificationsOpportunity to take on responsibilityInternational working environmentOpen communication, flat hierarchies and short information channelsCompetitive remunerationAttractive workplace on the HQ Campus in Bad Homburg with staff restaurantFree beverages and snacksRegular staff events If you are interested in working in a growing, dynamic and well established team operating as part of a global organization, we would like to hear from you.
