Responsibilities

Datacenter & Cloud Infrastructure – Infrastructure EMEA
Cloud cost management and optimization
Consulting in cloud architectures, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services
Migration of complex applications to the cloud in various scenarios
Operation and further development of a modern hybrid cloud infrastructure
Orchestration (Terraform), standardization (Salt) and automatization (scripting e.g., PowerShell)
Administration of Docker, Kubernetes e.g. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Administration of backup systems in the cloud
Support, monitoring and cost analysis
Incident, problem and change management for the supported environments
Creation, maintenance and updating of system and operational documentation
Conducting internal trainings and workshops to build up know-how in the organization
Ensuring data protection and IT security in the cloud operating environments
Close cooperation with internal customers, service providers, architecture, and other departments in all phases of a project
