The Payroll Team at SoSafe consists of a group of three professionals and forms part of our international People Department, which includes HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Workspace & Community Management, HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards & Recognition. Here's how you'll make a difference:
Support the HR and Payroll team in managing day-to-day employee topics, helping ensure smooth and efficient processesAssist with monthly payroll preparationHandle social security and tax-related matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with German regulationsHelp prepare and process employment-related documents such as work certificates, confirmations, and employee lettersBe the first point of contact in our HR ticketing system, ensuring requests are tracked, assigned, and resolved efficientlyMaintain employee records and keep our HR systems up to date with accurate dataManage incoming correspondence (emails and post) at our Cologne office, ensuring timely distribution and follow-upCollaborate on HR and payroll projects, bringing in your ideas to improve our processes and enhance the employee experience

You are an enrolled student at a renowned university, pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldYou are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, and communicate clearly and confidentlyYou are tech-savvy and comfortable working with a variety of digital tools and systemsYou have solid Excel skills and can effectively analyse, organise, and present dataYou’re a quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesYou’re confident and proactive — not afraid to speak up when something doesn’t add up and always ready to suggest improvementsYou’re curious and eager to learn, especially in the areas of Payroll and HR operationsYou’re a team player with a hands-on attitude and the drive to grow in a dynamic environment
