Overview

Responsibilities focus on supporting the technical development of the German wind portfolio, delivering technical input across project development phases with emphasis on mature development, procurement, and construction stages.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and performance management, define the scope for wind turbine packages, and support delivery of a wind turbine package.
• Lead preparation and negotiation of technical aspects of turbine supply agreements.
• Support development teams with technical input in planning applications (e.g., BImSchG).
• Work with engineers to develop project specifications and perform design reviews to technically verify the contractor’s design(s).
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and manage the schedule for WEA delivery within the overall project plan.
• Support technical handover, finalization, and resolution of warranty issues.
• Explain key technical aspects to project stakeholders clearly.
• Conduct on-site visits as needed.

Your profile

• University degree in a technical field and/or a vocational training in a relevant area with several years of experience.
• Proven experience negotiating technical aspects of wind turbine supply contracts.
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic project environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• International work experience and appreciation for cultural differences.
• Preferred location: Düsseldorf, but other Uniper sites are feasible; role can be predominantly remote.
• Fluent in German and English.
