STELLENAUSSCHREIBUNG 009/2026. Die Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg (OVGU) ist eine forschungsstarke, regional vernetzte und international orientierte Profiluniversität. An der Fakultät für Informatik, AG Kommunikation und Vernetzte Systeme (ComSys) ist eine Stelle als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/in / PostDoc (m/w/d) zu besetzen. Entgeltgruppe: 13 TV-L. Einstellungsdatum: zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt. Befristung: 2 Jahre. Arbeitszeit: 100 %.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Federführende Mitarbeit im Projekt DTOC zur Entwicklung des digitalen Zwillings
• Unterstützung der AG ComSys Lehre und Forschung (Lehrverpflichtung 4 SWS)
• Aktive und kreative Unterstützung bei der Beantragung von Forschungsprojekten, Projektorganisation und Projektdurchführung
• Publikation und Präsentation von Forschungsergebnissen auf nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen und Zeitschriften

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossene wissenschaftliche Hochschulausbildung (Diplom/Master)
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in einem oder mehreren der folgenden Gebiete:
• Computernetze, Kommunikationssysteme, Eingebettete Systeme
• Informationssysteme, BIM, Digitalisierung von Systemen und Gebäuden
• Digitale Zwillinge (engl. Digital Twins)
• Sehr gute Deutsch-/Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Eine hohe soziale Kompetenz sowie die Bereitschaft und das Interesse zur aktiven interdisziplinären wissenschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit

Job description (English)

The Digital Twin OVGU Campus (DTOC) project is developing a digital twin of the main campus of Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. In close cooperation with the administration and the faculty, requirements are being defined and implemented to map the campus transparently, optimize processes, and enable informed, data-driven decisions. The digital twin consists of i) the dashboard, ii) the sensors/actuators, iii) the attributed data (date, time, location), and v) the AI module.

• Leading role in the DTOC project for the development of the digital twin
• Support for the ComSys Teaching (4 semester hours per week) and Research Working Group
• Active and creative support in applying for research projects, project organization, and project implementation
• Publication and presentation of research results at national and international conferences and in journals

Requirements profile:

• Completed scientific university education (Diploma/Master's)
• Very good knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Computer networks, communication systems, embedded systems
• Information systems, BIM, digitization of systems and buildings
• Digital Twins
• Very good written and spoken German/English skills
• Strong social skills and a willingness and interest in active interdisciplinary scientific collaboration
